A Bulwark to Aggression

Encountering aggressive or nasty people,
One should remain quiet and calm
Don’t react, nor over-react.
But to imagine one’s sitting in a crow’s nest
On top of a tall, oily mast
Where none of the aggression or nastiness
Could ever shin up
Where one could then summon a magic carpet
To fly one off to somewhere idyllic and tranquil
Away from those disrespectful or unkind
To enjoy one’s company
And remembering the gemütlichkeit of people wonderful!

Aggressive peace-keeping beats all-out war.
