My heart's bleeding
And I've been having sudden bouts of weeping
After I've witnessed an ugly incident
Which has brought great pain to my innermost soul
I've rarely prayed
But I've been falling on my knees
And crying out to the Good Lord
To prevent it from ever happening again
I hope you'd pray with me, too
So that the Good Lord
Will answer our prayers
And my plea will not be in vain.
