Tranquillity after Intense Fury

An eruption of frenzied fury over an unfortunate incident,
Would trigger off rays of heat from one's ears
And fiery breath from one's nostrils
Which one would be unable to put a stop to, immediately.

Then, as the anger slowly subsides,
One's able to ignore the ugly incident
And push it away from one's mind
Eventually experiencing a kind of tranquillity.

I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.
