Jackpot for a Pickpocket!

A train to Tirano waiting at Milan Station was packed and everyone was rushing for seats.
As I was running to do the same, two young girls in white dresses came forward to help me.
One of them carried my bag while the other found a seat for me. The taller of the two then put my bag on the rack of the train carriage.

Thinking of giving them a tip, I slid my hand into the left pocket of my jeans for some coins. I was shocked to find that my money in 100 Euro bills was all gone except for the coins. One of the girls must have picked my pocket. Instead of getting some loose change, they had got away with a jackpot!

It was too late to do anything as they had left the train and it was moving out of the station.
