Often slighted and snubbed
I've found solace in being alone,
In the comfort zone of home
Reading, writing or doing nothing at all
And enjoy a simple, stress-free life.
I'd rather write into Cyberspace,
To no one in particular but to myself
Allowing my imagination to take hold,
Spinning stories of my simple life
Salving my solitary, restless soul.
